Our Move: Resilience1220 is moving from our current location on Ellingwood Trail (next to the Buchanan Park Recreation Center) to the La Plaza Office Park at 3072 Evergreen Parkway, Suite 100. Our move has become necessary because our current building, also known as the Miller House, will be be taken down as part of the EPRD Master Plan for Buchanan Park.
Our New Space: We are excited to move to our new space in one of the attractive Adobe buildings just off of Hilltop Drive and across from Gather Yoga. Our office will offer clients plenty of parking, and a convenient and discreet entrance. Our new location is central to clients traveling from the north and south, and is only 10 minutes from I-70.
Our Need: The timing of our move was unknown until a few months ago. Our 2025 budget will cover our new monthly lease, but does not include funds for moving expenses. We hope you'll consider pitching in to help. Here's our list of needs:
- Hiring Professional Movers to relocate four rooms of furniture (couches, tables, chairs,) and therapy supplies ($1,000)
- An "apartment size" refrigerator to store refreshments for our clients and guests ($300)
- A new printer with the capability to produce high-quality program fliers and help us save money on outside printing ($800)
- 2, 6-foot tables for our booths at schools and at public events where we create greater awareness of our services ($125 each)
- A shredder for destroying confidential client documents. ($50)
- 2, under desk locking filing cabinets for storage of confidential documents ($75 each)
- 2 cash boxes with locks for use at our fundraising events ($25 each)
- Signage to communicate our new location to the public ($500)
